| Jo Gantzer, associate for Christian formation at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Barrington Hills, Ill., has been appointed provincial coordinator of Province V. Provincial president the Rev. Canon Alan James announced the appointment February 1 in a letter to the province's executive committee. Gantzer has a 24 year history of church work, noted James in his announcement, and for the past seven years has been involved in provincial ministry. Prior to her call to St. Mark's, Gantzer served as canon for lifelong learning for the Diocese of Michigan. She currently serves as program chair of the education and formation network for the province. She is also the new director of the Living Stones Partnership, the network of congregations and dioceses committed to the ministry of all the baptized. Gantzer assumed her new duties as coordinator February 1. A priority will be improving communication within the provincial structure and among provincial networks and dioceses.
